About
Senior Assistant Chaplain Dr. Thomas Spencer is a retired U.S. Army Intelligence professional, theologian, ordained pastor, and former Clinical Psychologist whose life has been devoted to faith, service, leadership, and the care of others. Following a distinguished military career, he went on to practice as a Clinical Psychologist before ultimately retiring from the profession, carrying with him a lifelong passion for helping individuals navigate emotional, spiritual, and personal challenges with compassion and wisdom. A highly decorated combat veteran, Dr. Spencer was awarded the Silver Star and the Bronze Star for valor in recognition of extraordinary courage, sacrifice, and distinguished service to the nation. His military service instilled within him the enduring principles of duty, humility, resilience, and servant leadership that continue to guide his life and ministry today. Dr. Spencer pursued his theological and academic calling through Liberty University, where he earned two doctoral degrees: a Doctorate in the Philosophy of Psychology and a Doctorate in Ministry with concentrations in Apologetics and Theology. He furthered his ministerial preparation through Kingdom Revelations Seminary School, where he was formally ordained into ministry and committed himself fully to the service of Christ and His Kingdom. Presently, Dr. Spencer humbly serves within the Knights Templar of the Kingdom of Christ as Senior Assistant Chaplain, a role he regards as both a sacred responsibility and a profound honor. He considers it a privilege to stand alongside and serve the Spiritual and emotional needs of humble Christian men and women devoted to faith, charity, brother and sisterhood, spiritual discipline, and service to others. To him, the organization represents not earthly prestige, but a fellowship of believers striving to walk faithfully in the example of Christ through humility, honor, sacrifice, and unwavering devotion to God. At the center of Dr. Spencer’s life remains his family and faith. He is a devoted husband to Michelle Spencer, whom he lovingly describes as one of God’s greatest blessings in his life, and a humbled father and grandfather who believes that true legacy is not measured by titles or achievements, but by one’s faithfulness to God and love toward others.
