FOUNDING RECITAL

We, the founding members of the Knights Templar of the Kingdom of Christ, hereafter referred to as KTKC, do solemnly declare that this Order is established for the glory of Almighty God, under the Lordship of Jesus Christ, and for the advancement of His Kingdom through truth, charity, discipline, courage, and honorable Christian service. KTKC is constituted following a conscientious separation from OMSDT, prompted by serious concerns that monetary interests had exercised undue influence among higher members, that the virtues expected of Christian knighthood were not being upheld to a consistent standard, and that favoritism had contributed to unequal treatment and double standards. This Order is therefore founded in order to preserve integrity, restore equal accountability, and uphold the true virtues of Christian knighthood in both leadership and fellowship. Accordingly, these Articles are set forth as the governing Constitution and Statutes of KTKC.
Article I — Name and Consecration of the Order

The name of this body shall be (The) Knights Templar of the Kingdom of Christ. This Order shall forever be consecrated to the service of the Lord Jesus Christ and to the advancement of His Kingdom. All offices, honors, works, and obligations within KTKC shall be subject to Christ and judged by Christian truth, virtue, and obedience.
Article II — Christian Nature of the Order

KTKC is and shall always remain a Christian Order. The Order confesses Jesus Christ as Lord and acknowledges the Holy Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Its life, mission, and discipline shall be governed by the Christian faith and by a sincere commitment to live in a manner worthy of the Gospel. No interpretation of knighthood, ceremony, title, or tradition shall ever supersede the Christian character of the Order.
Article III — Purpose and Mission

The purpose of KTKC is: III. I. To honor and serve Jesus Christ in all things. III. II. To cultivate the true virtues of Christian knighthood. III. III. To encourage prayer, Scripture, charity, discipline, and service. III. IV. To strengthen Christian fellowship among believers. III. V. To defend the faith through truthful, nonviolent, and honorable witness. III. VI. To promote justice, mercy, humility, and accountability in the life of the Order. III. VII. To stand as a visible body of Christian brotherhood and sisterhood under Christ the King.
Article IV — Ecumenical Fellowship

KTKC welcomes the voices of faithful Christians from every denomination. Catholic, Protestant, Orthodox, and other Christians who sincerely confess Jesus Christ as Lord may be received into the fellowship of the Order, provided they are willing to uphold these Statutes and live according to the Christian and moral standards of KTKC. The Order shall not be bound to any one denomination as its exclusive identity, but shall seek unity in Christ without denying the seriousness of Christian conviction.
Article V — Rejection of False Worship and Corrupt Practice

KTKC rejects all occult practice, false worship, spiritual deception, and all conduct contrary to the Christian faith. No member shall use the Order to promote doctrines, rituals, devotions, or allegiances that deny or diminish the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Any practice that is superstitious, coercive, exploitative, or spiritually corrupt shall be forbidden within the Order. KTKC rejects the use of Masonic symbols. ANY emblems, seals, slogans, or idols are strictly prohibited.
Article VI — Liberty of Conscience and Moral Obedience

No officer, superior, or representative of KTKC shall command any knight or dame to perform any act that violates conscience, Holy Scripture, lawful Christian duty, or just civil law. No member shall be compelled to choose between obedience to God and obedience to the Order. No member shall invoke violence on nor slander other religions during tenure in the Order. Politics are meant to stay outside of the Order. Each member can recognize themselves in any political standing, however we do not want tension of political matters of the state to construe the values of the Order itself. Where a conflict of conscience arises, the conscience of the member shall be respected, provided that such conscience is asserted sincerely and not as a pretext for disorder or wrongdoing.
Article VII — Oaths, Vows, and Solemn Promises

KTKC shall require no secret oath and no blood oath. Any vow, promise, or obligation taken within the Order shall be open in moral character, lawful in substance, and consistent with Christian truth and conscience. The honor of a knight or dame shall rest not in secrecy, fear, or coercion, but in faithfulness before God and man.
Article VIII — Offices, Titles, and Rank

All offices, titles, ranks, and dignities within KTKC exist for service and responsibility, not for privilege or self-exaltation. No office shall place a member above correction. No title shall excuse failure of character. No rank shall shield a person from just discipline. Leadership in KTKC shall be understood as stewardship under Christ and accountability before the brethren.
Article IX — Financial Integrity and the Rejection of Monetary Gain

No office, title, rank, dignity, honor, or privilege within KTKC shall ever be bought, sold, traded, or granted in exchange for money, gifts, favoritism, or personal loyalty. Entry into the Order shall not depend upon wealth, social status, or financial advantage.The funds of the Order shall be used only for lawful, honorable, and mission-serving purposes. Any misuse of finances, personal enrichment, manipulation of dues or gifts, or conduct creating the appearance of financial corruption shall be subject to review and discipline. KTKC expressly rejects monetary gain as a governing principle of Christian knighthood.
Article X — Equality, Fairness, and Rejection of Favoritism

All members of KTKC stand equal in dignity before God and equal in moral accountability within the Order. No member shall be favored, protected, excused, promoted, or disciplined on the basis of friendship, influence, wealth, office, or personal loyalty. Favoritism, partiality, and double standards are contrary to the spirit and law of this Order and shall not be tolerated. Justice within KTKC must be impartial, truthful, and consistent.
Article XI — Admission to the Order

Admission to KTKC shall be open to persons who profess faith in Jesus Christ. Members are preferred to be baptized Christians, or have clear profession of faith in Jesus Christ, even if baptism status is still being discussed pastorally. **No applicant shall be rejected on account of race, ethnicity, nationality, lawful social condition, or denominational background, provided the applicant meets the Christian and moral standards of the Order.
Article XII — Duties of Members

bound: XII. I. To pray faithfully and seek God sincerely. XII. II. To read and honor Holy Scripture. XII. III. To practice charity, mercy, and service. XII. IV. To conduct personal life with integrity and sobriety. XII. V. To speak truthfully and act honorably. XII. VI. To support fellow members in righteousness and brotherly love. XII. VII. To avoid scandal, corruption, and conduct unworthy of Christian knighthood. **Membership in KTKC is not ceremonial only; it requires a living rule of conduct.
Article XIII — Standard of Leadership

Those entrusted with leadership in KTKC shall be held to a higher standard of visible virtue, humility, justice, and accountability. Leaders must govern without partiality, listen without arrogance, correct without cruelty, and serve without self-interest. A leader who cannot exemplify the virtues of Christian knighthood forfeits the moral claim to Christian leadership, regardless of title or seniority. The greater the office, the greater the obligation to live transparently and faithfully.
Article XIV — Discipline, Complaint, and Redress

The Order shall maintain just procedures for correction, complaint, and discipline. Any member may raise a good-faith concern regarding misconduct, favoritism, abuse of office, financial impropriety, or serious violation of these Statutes without fear of retaliation. All complaints shall be considered fairly, investigated soberly, and judged impartially. Discipline may include admonition, correction, suspension, removal from office, or expulsion, according to the gravity of the offense. Mercy may inform discipline, but favoritism shall never replace justice.
Article XV — Brotherhood and Sisterhood

KTKC shall be a true fellowship of Christian brotherhood and sisterhood. Members are bound to support one another in prayer, charity, accountability, and mutual aid. They shall bear one another’s burdens, encourage one another in virtue, and correct one another in love. Clique, neglect, private faction, and the silencing of sincere Christian voices are contrary to the life of the Order. The fellowship of KTKC must be marked by fairness, humility, and sacrificial care.
Article XVI — Spiritual Warfare and Public Witness

KTKC affirms that the battle of the Christian knight in this age is spiritual rather than physical. The Order exists not to glorify violence, but to stand for Christ through prayer, truth, charity, repentance, courage, discipline, and public witness. Members shall defend the faith through lawful, peaceful, and honorable means, seeking to spread the light of Christ in a darkened world and to serve others in His Name.
Article XVII — The Five Governing Pillars of KTKC

The Order shall hold sacred these five governing pillars: XVII. I. Service to Christ and His Kingdom — That all things in the Order be done for the glory of God and the service of His Kingdom. XVII II. Prayer and Holy Meditation — That every member cultivate prayer, Scripture, repentance, and inward devotion. XVII. III. Discipline and Virtue — That Christian knighthood be measured by conduct, integrity, and self-mastery. XVII. IV. Courageous Christian Witness — That members bear public testimony to Christ with truth, humility, and steadfastness. XVII. V. Brotherhood and Sisterhood in Charity — That all members practice mutual care, fairness, accountability, and sacrificial love. These pillars shall guide the interpretation, application, and future development of the Order’s laws and customs.
ADOPTION CLAUSE

These Constitution and Statutes shall become the governing rule of the Knights Templar of the Kingdom of Christ upon their formal adoption by the founding body of the Order. Any amendment hereafter proposed shall be judged not only by procedural validity, but by fidelity to Christ, consistency with the founding purpose of KTKC, and preservation of justice, integrity, and equal accountability within the Order.
